How do you determine door handing?
To determine handing look at the door hinges from the exterior side of the door:
Right Handed : Hinges are on the right and the door swings in.
Left Handed : Hinges are on the left and the door swings in.
Right Hand Reverse : Hinges are on the right and the door swings out.
Left Hand Reverse : Hinges are on the left and the door swings out.
How do you measure backset?
Backset is measured from the edge of the door to the center of the bore hole.
What is keying?
Keying only applies when you are ordering more than one keyed door hardware items from the same manufacturer. We can not match the locks for hardware ordered from different manufacturers.
Keyed Alike You will be able to use the same key on all items ordered
Keyed Different You will use a different key on all items ordered
