The pull down closet rod allowed me to utilize the upper space in a 10 foot ceiling closet. I rebuilt a large room size walk in closet into a California style custom designed closet. The design objective is for the closet to be high-end for home resale. The Sugatsune Tallman is higher priced than other pull down closet rods on the market. I've used others but I believe the higher quality and design of the Tallman is worth the extra money.

In a normal double high closet, the unit is mounted higher than the manufacturer expected. As a result, the handle isn't reachable from the floor. I extended the handle with a lawnmower start rope. When down, my wife needs only a 1 foot stool to load and unload items from the rack. An extendable handle would be easy to incorporate and would make it a better product.

This is a qualiy made product tjat is very easy to install.It just requires a little to much effort to pull it down.
