This item was purchased to replace an existing doorbell cover. The building I live in is white and the old cover and button were also white so it was difficult for guests to see the doorbell. This item definitely is easy to see and is very aesthetically pleasing. Unfortunately, the hole for the existing cover was bigger than the new cover and I will have to find a way to correct it.
